A SUMMER FARM ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
Join us Tuesdays and Thursdays this summer at
Simply Growing Farm….June 7th-August 11….9a-4p
-Take the time this summer to experience the farm…a place to connect with yourself, nature, and with others
-Participate in a hands-on, active experience in the local food movement….the seed-to-store program…. where we explore all aspects of the market gardening experience…from starting seeds to the harvesting and sale of produce at our on-site produce stand and at local venues
-Learn more about wellness, health, and balance through farm activities as well as daily stretching and strengthening exercises, individual growth opportunities, and challenges
-Experience movement in a new way… play and challenge yourself on our new tire playground….fun for people of all ages….a place where nature playground meets ninja warrior obstacle course
-Work collectively on our summer-long project….building an outdoor cob oven….great for building community and baking breads, pizzas, roasting veggies….plus much more!
-Develop and hone public speaking skills through our summer long study on the art of storytelling with several performance opportunities
-All of this and more….Come one day a week or both, but sign up soon because spaces are limited! There will be a sliding scale fee of $35-$55 per day

HOME-SCHOOL FARM ENRICHMENT DAYS
– 9am-3pm Tuesdays and Thursdays
– Sliding scale of $30-$50 per session
-4-12 year olds
This program is designed to offer the students the opportunity to connect with themselves and with nature. They will learn about the process of market gardening and they will have the chance to take part in many aspects of growing and processing food and herbs from starting seeds in the greenhouse to helping build and sell food in our on-site produce stand. Through individual and community-based projects, students will have the opportunity to explore and further their own interests as well as expand their communication and collaborative abilities by engaging in real-world, building projects and activities.
FARM FRIDAYS
This loosely structured farm experience will allow children and their adults the opportunity to share space and connect with each other while exploring nature through hands-on activities. Children will learn about the farm and gardening through active exploration, group projects, and interactive play.
– 9am-12pm
-All ages welcome; must be a parent or guardian on-site (don’t worry- you will have fun too!)
-Free offering. Donations accepted. Farm fresh produce available for purchasing.
